This Sunday morning I delivered our annual "State of the Church Address". We reviewed some of the highlights from 2020 and praised God for His faithfulness to our congregation this past year. Though we faced many unforeseen challenges due to COVID-19, our church still made great strides in the areas of worship, discipleship, ministry, and missions. Overall, our church is alive and well and God continues to do great things through our small congregation. We look forward to great things in 2021. Happy New Year!
Starting next Sunday we will begin a new study on "Baptist Distinctives". This will be a topical series made up of 8 to 12 sermons to be preached over the next 2 or 3 months. We will talk about some of the basic doctrinal beliefs that are distinct to Baptists. While Baptists share many common beliefs with other Christian denominations, this series will be limited to those beliefs that make us unique. If time allows, we may touch on some Baptist history as well. Any way, have a blessed week!
